MKI serves as the hub of the MKI Global Network, a group of autonomous foundations and organizations around the world implementing a wide range of initiatives designed to meet the unique healthcare delivery needs of individual countries.

MKI Institute has consultative and/or cooperative relations with the following organizations (in alphabetical order):

American International College

Founded in 1885, American International College committed itself to educating immigrants who were new to the United States in order to prepare them for productive, meaningful lives in American society. Over the years this commitment has continued and evolved to include providing a global perspective to local students and welcoming young men and women from all over the world to study within its walls.

Home to a School of Health Sciences, AIC has systematically developed rigorous and high quality programs to educate future healthcare workers. The college's curricula are global-minded, encouraging all students to see their future careers in a broader societal context.

Clover Mama Afrika

The Clover Mama Afrika – Ukwakha Isizwe (Building and nurturing our nation) project is a national social upliftment project which seeks to assist and support communities at grassroots level in an enabling and empowering manner so they can help themselves and those around them. The project’s main involvement is with women who look after abused, abandoned, orphaned and HIV/Aids children as well as the elderly.

In South Africa we have many such Mamas. They reflect humility, caring and strength and are respected by their peers. These Mamas hold the keys to the secrets of yesteryear. They tell the stories of the past and are the points of call in times of need. Not only are they aware of the needs of their communities, but they actively address those needs in whatever way possible. In their townships, they unassumingly take charge of protecting, nurturing and educating their young and take care of the abandoned senior citizens.

To date every aspect of the Clover Mama Afrika initiative has surpassed all expectations and each success is a testament to the hard work, dedication and enormous price of all involved.

Mothers2Mothers & Mothers Creations

Each month, more babies are born with HIV in one clinic in Africa than in one year in the United States, Canada and England combined. This is because treatment to prevent the infection of newborns in the developed world has become as simple as a single dose of medicine for the mother and her newborn. While these same clinical solutions are now available in Africa, their impact and effectiveness for HIV-positive mothers is less successful without complementary social, emotional and psychological support. mothers2mothers (m2m) helps save these children and their mothers by offering essential support.
m2m offers an effective, sustainable model of care that provides education and support for pregnant women and new mothers living with HIV/AIDS.

Services SETA

Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETA's) have been established in terms of the Skills Development Act as from 1 April 2000, and will be responsible for disbursement of the training levies payable by all employers. These levies will be collected by the South African Revenue Service via the Department of Labour, and are to be disbursed through a management system motivated by skills requirement assessment and monitoring. Thus SETA's will ensure that the skill requirements of the sector are identified and that the adequate and appropriate skills are readily available. The SETA would contribute to the improvement of sector skills through achieving a more favourable balance between demand and supply, and would ensure that education and training: - Is provided subject to validation and quality assurance; - Meets agreed standards within a national framework; - Ensures that new entrants to the labour market are adequately trained, and; - Acknowledges and enhances the skills of the current work force.

UN NGO-DPI

Non-governmental organizations have been partners of the Department of Public Information (DPI) since its establishment in 1947. Official relationships between DPI and NGOs date back to 1968. The Economic and Social Council in its resolution 1297 called on DPI to associate NGOs with effective information programmes in place and thus disseminate information about issues on the UN’s agenda and the work of the Organization. Through associated NGOs DPI seeks to reach people around the world and help them better understand the work and aims of the United Nations.

The DPI/NGO Section is part of the department’s Outreach Division and acts as its liaison between the United Nations and NGOs and other civil society organizations. It oversees partnerships with associated NGOs and provides a wide range of information services to them. These include weekly NGO briefings, communication workshops, an annual NGO conference and an annual orientation programme for newly associated NGOs.

The World Medical Association (WMA) is an international organization representing physicians, founded in September 1947. The organization was created to ensure the independence of physicians and to work for the highest possible standards of ethical behaviour and care by physicians, at all times.
